KillDisk authorization is provided by an external or internal removable USB key with
license and user information. This USB key must be inserted all the times to make
KillDisk software operable.

For KillDisk Systems manufactured by LSoft Technologies the security chip is integrated into the motherboard. In this case no additional USB key needs to be plugged in.
