Linux Console application:

Tiny and fast utility for any PC:
1.3MB storage space for executable
64MB RAM for execution
Bootable CD/USB to start from

What is Disk Erase? This process removes ALL data from a physical disk(s) or logical drive's surface... more

What is Disk Wipe? This is a process where all UNUSED data is removed from a logical drive's surface...more

Active@ KillDisk Linux Console goal is to replace obsolete DOS package (which is slow and non-multitasking) and offer much more functionality using simple console interface, excluding any graphical mode interaction. Advanced batch mode allows to pre-configure bootable media to erase all detected disks automatically to avoid user interaction at all. It comes with a bootable media, based on TinyCore Linux, however it can be launched under any Linux family operating system: Debian, Ubuntu, Oracle, OpenSUSE … in console (non-graphical) mode. The size of executable is only 1MB, the size of bootable media including many mass storage and RAID drivers is the only 9MB.
